Oat Groats

Someone gave me 2 bags of Oat Groats today.

How often and how many can I given to the "Babies"?

Also, how should I store them?

Oats can be given to the bunnies in small quanitities--I'd say about 2 Tablespoons a day on top of their pellets. It helps with their coats, but too much can give them the runs.

Nova is crazy for her oats! She goes through the food dish and eats them first then she eats her pellets lol. I got a 50 lb bag of oats from a friend with horses. So I am good for a while, I planted a bunch (oat grass) and mixed a bunch in with the mouse food.
