Nutrical is available in the states at petstoresanywehre from 8-10 bucks I think.. The Baytril I have beengiven by my vet, its a prescription. Its about 2 bucks a pill...notcheap stuff!

Hi Samandshawn,

NutriCal will stimulate their appetite, it'll boost their immunesystem, if they go off their feed, provides them with the nutrientsneeded for a bit, and has a bit of laxatone in it. It can bepurchased at a pet supply store, is geared towards giving to cats anddogs, and costs about $12-20 per tube. The tube will last awhile. It comes out like toothpaste and usually an inch isplenty for one treatment.

Baytril, as you know is an antibiotic and needs to be prescribed by a doctor. It's rather expensive.

You can give NutriCal and Baytril together. As far as I'maware, they won't conflict each other. Can't do that with allmeds. Some medicines when mixed with NutriCal can causediarrehea, so you do have to be careful before you assume it's okay.

Thanks everyone. What do you put the nutrical in to administer?

Corky hates it, so I put it right on his paw sohe has to lick it off...he flicks his paw around and in general has afit...then I usually get the "butt" for awhile....

I actually have to rub it into Tucker's paw sothat he can't flick it. The others will eat the NutriCal if Iput some on a carrot.

:)
