Nothing, and I mean NOTHING can surprise me now.

So I was playing around RO last night, and my best friend (whos a guy) texts me saying ' I have something to tell you '
Now, before I go on I think you guys should know our past so it makes more sense.
We dated a while back, I broke up with him. He's asked me back out 3-4 times since, and if I don't answer till the next morning (he seems to only text me at night lol) he'd have said he found someone else.
This pissed me off like crazy, because how could you get over someone who you claimed to love, so fast.
So we never ended up going back together, but he knew how I felt about him and that I really missed him.

Back to last night;
I reply with 'Erm, okay.. what?' thinking he finally came to his senses about this. (I was actually getting all giddy and happy) then I got his reply.
" I proposed to Nat " ... who is his current girlfriend.
She cheated on him twice in the past 2 months, and he told me how much she hurt him, and THIS?
I can't remember much of what I said, since the all happy thoughts like, exploded.
Then he asks me if I think he's too young, and I said yes. Now he's mad at me. :grumpy

Phew, I just needed to rant. :)

I've had friends "surprise" me like that, as well. It's just hard to say the right thing when you are always on an emotional roller coaster. I've tried very hard to separate myself from those friends as I've grown older.

Yeah,
he's still mad at me for god knows what reason. I thought he was like, my best friend but since he's been with her, he never talks to me.

I told my Mom what was going on and all she said was 'good best friend eh?'

Sometimes it's better to really cut some people out of your life. It's positive for you in the long run to lessen some drama... People who make you feel explosive emotionally are not doing you any favors. I've never had boyfriends who did this sort of thing to me but I have had other people in my life who was constantly stirring up stuff and after a while it just wasn't worth it, you know?
