Im looking to get another rabbit. I had 2 the summer before last but rehomed one, because some people I knew where looking for a pet and I had just gothim so I gave them 1 and the other sadly passed away, both I got from breeders who"no longer needed them":(Which I regret giving the other away, anyways I have looked on petfinder and the only ones are a little too far away from me. Theres alot on craigslist but there selling them for easter and not the breeds im looking for.

Should I just buy one or keep looking ? And am I being too picky ?

It's an 8 - 10 year commitment. So no, you aren't being too picky! ;)

Keep looking until you find one that absolutely steals your heart.

I agree,

It's a big commitment and you don't want to rush and get any bunny that you may not enjoy the company of ( if thats possible)

:) Good Luck!

I agree with what has been posted by other forum members already.

You are not being picky. Definitely wait until you find the one you want. It is a big commitment but it is very rewarding when the trust shows up.

It's truly worth the wait! Wishing you luck in your search for your sweet bun.

I almost got another bunny at a show, I'm looking for one to be a friend with my current bunny. We don't have any rescues close and same as you nothing on CL. Anyhow in the end I decided to wait cause I figure in a month or two after Easter there will be plenty of sweet bunnies looking for new homes.

I just hate the thought of buying one when there might be one that needs a home. Theres a person selling Lionheads, and if I dont find a rabbit by may or june I think I will take one from him. There papered(not very important to me)and its a registered rabbitry and alot of good feedback about the ones he sells.

What do you think ?I also thought about people rehoming them after easter, guess I will have to wait and see,but that gives me time to get things ready :)

Also thanks to everyone for the replys, weather I buy or adopt I will def. make sure its the one for me,just like my bunny Blue :hearts:

Whether you buy or adopt, a bunny gets a good home.

I have bought and rescued and they are all loving bunnies.

Wish you luck on your venture to find your bunny.
