Not sure what to call this

I was wondering what size would be considered dwarf;small;medium;large;extra large.

EX:

Dwarf 1-3lbs

Small 3-5lbs

Med: 5-7lbs

Large: 7-10lbs

X-Large:10lbs plus

I'd usually call 3-5 lbs a Mini... but that would be too breed specific. A Mini Rexfits into3-5 lbs. A Mini Lop would be a Medium rabbit on your chart. LOL

I'd call a Medium bunny- 5-8 lbs., a Large rabbit- 8-12 lbs. And a Giant - over 12 lbs.

Medium - 6-9 lbs.

Large - 9-11 lbs.

Giant - over 11 lbs.

There is a big difference between a 2.5lb and 4lb rabbit in my house, though. One you can pick up with one hand and will climb up to your shoulder, the other needs two hands and a baby-carry. I know it can totally depend on what circle you're in too--in the rescue circle we sometimes call things dwarves that aren't because people want a "small" bunny. Very few 3lb bunnies come through the shelter doors, most are 6-8lbs., so we call them small or medium.
