Not sharing their house

Gunston and Whidbey have a house (box) in their cage that's plenty big for both of them.
For the first couple nights they were both hanging out in there.
Now Whidbey spends all day in there and Gunston sits outside.
I don't know if Whidbey isn't sharing, or if Gunston is staying out by choice, but I feel a little bad for him.
Should I put a second house in there for him?
