Last night was the 4-H meeting, I shoulda known it was going to lead into a weird series of events when someone left the door open to the community center, and apparently a huge 20lb snappin turtle wanted to see if he could show some animals... TO HIS BELLY!

So we got the turtle back out to the drainage canal..

I don't know how I lucked out...but the tribe moved onto Ty's house.. all 20 boys.. plus the 2 little bothers... err brothers.. Christian and Chase. I was looking forward to a peaceful night with my husband, all alone, watching "The Other Boleyn Girl".. I was sadly mistaken.

Blake's girlfriend Stormy elected to spend the night with Miranda, Jarred's sisters. Bad idea.. Miranda doesn't like other girls, and if she has taken a shine to you, then she has an ulterior motive. Stormy knows this. When they drove away, I said to myself, *well that's the end of that relationship*

Sure enough, 2 hours later, a slew of phone calls and he said she said back and forth.. Blake and Stormy are no more. She sat there and told me all these HORRIBLE things my son did to her. For instance, he does all the farm work for her (her share) he gets her food for her, he's too attentive, he asks her if she needs anything to much. My gawd.. I raised a horrible child-he should be taken out and SHOT. If that's all the horrible things his daddy did, my life would be all stars and lobsters.

She did tell me that Blake does get a little jealous when she sits on his computer all day and talks to all these guys shes goes to school with on myspace IM, and he has asked her to stop. Her reasoning why she doesn't is because he has all these MODELS on his myspace with their hooties hangin half out, and it offends her. Well, there is a big difference between local guys and models my son will never meet. But then again, I am asking to much for a 15 year old girl to act responsible in a relationship. They were giving me a headache, what I said was IF... (stress of IF) If you can't work this out and knock it off, I am putting a stop to it right now* what Stormy heard was *your forbidden from seeing my son* next thing I know, Blakes on my cell calling me from the end of Jarred's driveway, which is about a half mile from the house, in the frickkin woods, embarrassed to come back to the house because he showed his butt.

I then get Jarred's mom calling me on my home phone being an ass, telling me, *how about I send Stormy home, tell her she can't spend the night, and Miranda can't be friendly to people anymore, would that make you happy, it's not my fault your son had to go to the end of the driveway to pout and cry*

Keeping in mind, Blake has his issues, and for Blake to walk off and not make a scene and control himself was a huge deal.

What mom can ignore her son calling her on his cell with tears in his eyes, because he's embarrassed. I am just suppossed to ignore that, given where he is, in the woods, at 10 pm.

Well Lisa's comment set me off.. somethin fierce..needless to say, I took off to their house... Rick roared up behind me in his truck. Rick and Greg, Ty's Daddy, held me off, Tim, Lisa's husband held her off. I think had they let us go, it'd been a catawampuss mess all over her 14 acres.

Today it's over and done with, but I am still beyond miffed at Lisa.. do you know what she told me? I am doing my son a huge injustice by monitering him so much, and being so overprotective. Ok then, this coming from someone who let her son go to a river unsupervised with 4 other teens and we ALL know how that ended. Yanno what.. I will take my chances with me being overprotective.

As if that was not enough excitement for the day.. I went out to check on the pig.. not because he really needed checking on.. but because he is a sweet boy and I like playing with him. What I intially saw was the pig in his waller, eyes closed, all 4 hooves in the air, what I saw next was about a 10ft long water moccassin as big around as my wrist curled up under the water spicket. I thought the pig was dead. I screamed, and like a cartoon, the pig jumped 3 feet and screamed too... the cat followed me out there and surveyed the action from on top of the feed chest. He never got excited in the least.. it was like *Me-frickkin-ow* I, on the other hand grabbed the pen scraper and went to kill the snake. It kinda jumped at me, and I meant to scream OH MY GAWD and even OH F***, but in the melee, I am quite sure the entire neighborhood heard me scream at the top of my lungs OHMYF***!!!!

The snake is dead... beheaded like one of King Henry's wives.. the pig is fine.. unbitten.. unawares..

Any other day, I have the tribe here to do the killin for me..

To make matters worse.. I went to bed with wet hair and then I woke up and put it up in a ponytail holder, now.. apparently I am channelling Amy Winehouse somethin fierce..

Such is my day thus far, and it's only a little after 2:30 pm.

A couple of thoughts that I have found comforting...I was worried about Blake being upset over the Stormy thing...but I have come to the conclusion, that Blake is doing well with losing the only kid that ever got him.. really got him. Anything some lil stupid girl can and will do to him, in the grand scheme of life.. really ain't nothin'

I was relaying this story to my girlfriend and she said, * Women are nuts, women are B******, women are psychos, we ARE women, and your surprised by this girls behavior? Come ON!*

She's right..I do know better...

Actually i do get on with guys much more, but then my 2 closest male friends are gay so i don't know if that counts :p

Such dramas, i'm sure in a few weeks all will be forgotten! We really are annoying aren't we?

Fran :) :hearts :brownbunny

You and some of the other girls on here are so rare it shocks me. I like you. You is so very sweet doing what you did for me.

I'm in agreement that teenage girls are...well...annoying as all get out :grumpy:. I've always been able to have better relationships (as in friends) with males. Females (not all, but many - especially during their teen years) tend to be catty and downright rude - if not vicious!

I'm sorry to hear that Blake and Stormy are no longer together. And I'm even more sorry that you had to deal with everything that you dealt with. Keep doing what you're doing - you love your son and are there for him and you should never have to apologize for that.

I'm happy to hear the piggy was okay and that the snake was beheaded before true harm was done.

Here's to hoping that tonight is a better night :).

I'm in total agreance with this statement :p. I would way rather sit down with the guys, have a beer, watch motor sports, be able to let off gas and no one look horrified, than deal with some snotty lady :grumpy:, who's getting all pouty because I don't want to discuss her boyfriend and how she hates her hair.

Funny just as I read this I burped and burst out laughing because it sounded funny.:biggrin2:

How's Blake doing? I think of you guys a lot. He's come such a long way, from what you've said. My son John is 15, and I would've been right there if he had called. Of course he was embarrassed....who wouldn't be? And that woman giving you a bag of crap about how you deal with Blake needs to shut up!

Even at my age, I still get along better with guys....I love sports, and just hanging out, and most of my female friends get all weird about stuff....you have to be so careful about every little thing you say, or they get offended. My guy friends don't even notice!

One thing I've gotta say is that the women that I've met here are totally refreshing, especially the young women like pinksalamander.

Hope things are better soon for you guys....keep chopping off those snake heads...I am completely petrified of them!

I had a kick out of the snake story. I would be doing the same thing.

I am terrified of Teen Girls. My niece Sami is 13 no and OMG she is rude lots of times already.

Don't you ever let anyone tell you how to raise your son! (Although I do think Lisa has a heap of issues of her own that should be dealt with without involving the rest of the world.) Gosh, with all of Blake's nasty faults, how did she stand being around him? Can you send him up here? I'd love for my girls to meet him!

Glad you got rid of that snake. Not what you want to see suning itself next to your pig!

Hope things calm down for you ... including your hair.
