NOT EATING......... (Resolved)

I have the same kaytee rabbit pellets that I got from the petstore. Now Milk (New name) won't eat anything! He only eats timothy and alfalfa hay. What do i do??

That's good that he's eating his hay, that means he still has an appetite.

How long has been ignoring his pellets for?

He is about 2 months old and I'm not sure if he is eating more hay or not. Sorry. But he drinks a lot of water and just peed A LOT. And a little got on me. LOL

iluvbunnies, I'm going to move your thread to the Infirmary. This doesn't sound quite right to me, I would want someone more knowledgeable to give their opinion.

Young bunny, not eating pellets for 2 days, not sure if he's eating hay, drinking only water... doesn't sound quite right to me.

Is he pooping at all? Do the poops look solid and normal?

Helen has good questions. I would like to know for sure if he's eating hay, and if he's pooping, and what the poops look like. Also, is his behavior normal? If he starts acting really strangely sleepy, it's an emergency.

AHA! I see him eating hay. Timathy and alfalfa. A LOT!! Yes he poos and pees. And poops constantly and pees a lot still. His poos are round and little.

That's good to hear. Maybe he just doesn't like that bag of pellets. :dunno: Is it a new bag, or the same one? Might it have gotten moldy or gone past its expiration date?

Its the same type he had at the pet store. I got him recently. Its not moldy or past its expiration date. I think I'll return it.
