We have 2 mini lion head boys who have been bonded for over a year. Both are neutered. All was well until a few days ago when Eddie began to run away from Rufus. They used to eat , sleep , sit . Play and flop together. Now , other than once in the hutch , they are always apart. Eddie runs off even if Rufus just wants to sit with him. I haven't seen them fighting ever. Rufus looks so lonely......any help/ ideas welcome!

Chrisdoc would probably be the best one to answer your question as she has three bonded males. I do know hers have had tiffs a time or two. I have two intact females that are bonded and their are times that they get into little tiffs as well. No fighting just grunting and avoiding each other or one running away from the other. Yet they will still at times lay together and groom each other as well as eat together.

I think it might just be normal just as two people that are close to each other will at times argue no matter how much they care for one another. Would you be able to spend all day, every day in one room with anyone else and not at times argue?

I would just keep any eye out though for any signs of fighting as they can be very bad.
