Peaches is going to get fixed soon, he has a blanket that he likes to dig in AND POOP IN! He'll dig in there for about 10 minutes and he'll have almost a cup of poop that I can shake out of it! He's also started to toss his poos out of his cage (I'm not sure how he does that) I'm hoping this behaviour will stop once he gets fixed. He now has poos all over the place - I used to clean out his litter with vinegar each time I changed it but lately I've cleaned it out but haven't done the vinegar - could this be why he's going all over?

And why would he be pooing all over his blanky? I had a friend of my daughter's bunny sit for a week and she had a dog, maybe Peaches can smell the dog and is marking his blanket as his? I need to wash it again, it's smelling kinda musky lately.

Neutering will help these negative behaviors a whole lot but for the time being it would help to wash with vinegar.

Intact males tend to mark everything with urine and poop and are so much messier than neutered males. The odor of an intact male is also much stronger than after a neuter.

I have been sprayed in the face (actually my eye) by an intact male running about for exercise at the shelter ..nothing at all that was pleasant. Spraying behavior also ceases after neutering. After the surgery it may take over a month for the hormone level to drop to a point that behavior changes are noticeable.

You have a lot to look forward to .....:)
