NIC Grids

So, Taz and Pepper's NIC cage is coming along nicely, but when you guys bought panels, did you get panels that had differnt size squares that made up the grids?

Some brands have the differnent sized squares. Target comes to mind. You can not use the bigger grids for anything other than shelves. I think that Sears has them at a good price and for the good ones.

Yeah, i got them at target, and they have half the box in the size i need, and the other half with ridiculously big squares!:X

You can also use the big square panels for the top/lid if there is one.

Thats what i was thinking- use the big ones for the top

one thing we did was we had some squares left over. we bought them from sears and they were all the same size you could use the big ones for the top or if you just dont want to use them as a shelf we didnt we used them for their intended purpose for storage. and it holds the bunny food some hay treats extra toys etc.next to the cage.

target really sucks for changing the design! if you're not too far along, you could always return them and complain about the holes in some of the grids and then go buy 'em at sears for less (and get all good grids, at that).

We're going to return the 2nd box we got, and get one at sear's. Since we're so far along with the 1st box, we won't start over, but we will continue with a box from sears!

sounds like a plan - that means you shouldn't have an overabundance of crappy grids to use up
