I can understand not having the best resoursesavailable to care for a pet (like a rabbit-savy vet), but just lettingan animal suffer with a badly broken leg just shows a lack ofcompassion.

One thing I noticed about the article though -
They aren'tjust domestic rabbits, some of the seized bunnies are lop-eared.Animal Control said they make good pets.
Huh?????

I too thought that was a bit strange. Just goes to show you howsome of these so-called journalists slap together a story without doingthe proper research.

I know - there are so many things wrong withthat statement. Where do you begin? :? Seems likeit also suggests that up-eared pet rabbits are somehow 'native' andtherefore suited to living in the wild in the US.

Wow! I just moved from virginia beach two summers ago. I lived there for 7 years.
