I was able to read the second one, but the firstlink didn't open for me. What strikes me is, the animal shelter ischarging a lot of money for animals they are going to kill unlesssomeone purchases them. It's also rather sad they are taking themothers away from weening kits. Surely with more patience, they couldhave rounded all of them instead of just the mothers.

Prizm, they arent charging alot of money formoney they are going to kill. That is an adoption fee. they want toadopt out and find those bunnies homes. That adoption fee is prettycheap if you ask me. When adopting you get a fixed bunny. but i betthat $45 they are charging wont even cover half of thier vet bills onthe rabbits.

I'm sorry, that was more of a venting on my part. I've heardhorror stories involving the humane society "rescuing" animals whichwere living extremely well on their own, only to be killed in theirshelter. I've also volunteered for an extremely inhumane raptor shelterand delt with an equally corupt local humane society. The poor buns inthe article were obviously in trouble though, if they had ear mites andwere becoming diseased...still, I wonder if they could have done moreto save the young ones with their parents.

That makes me really mad:X People need to take proper care of their animals.
