Neat article -- but so many competitors (and even the judge in thiscase) are not aware of the proper order of judging considerations inthe meat pen animals.
The myth that the most important feature of the meat pen is for therabbits to be identical continues to be cultivated amongyouth. Uniformity is the "3rd" most important considerationwhen judging meat pens (worth only 20 points). Meat type isthe most important consideration at 40 points -- with the"hindquarters" being the most important aspect of type(loinis second, shoulders are 3rd in importance).
Condition is the 2nd most important consideration.
