That's is such a horrible story!!!
We had a rabbit run over in front of our house in a similar way, exceptit wasn't injured prior to being hit. My daughter was standing rightthere and said that a van came down the street and deliberately swervedto hit the rabbit. She was so upset that she didn't think to get theplate#.

OMG!!! That's just so awful.My dog was hit by a car a year ago this Friday and it was just sohorrible. The person didn't stop and she made it home, werushed her to the vet, but we had just movedhere and didn'tknow that vet was not very competent. He gave her a shot andsaid she would be fine and sent her home. She died in thecar. People can be so cruel.

That is simply awful.
And this is coming from a person who just today stopped at the side ofthe road, stopped traffic to rescue a small painted turtle from themiddle of the road. I brought the turtle to work tohave the biology teacher look him over. He gave him a goodexamination and said he was a wonderful specimen. He is goingto take care of the turtle until the weekend when he is going torelease him in the pond in his backyard. Till thenhe is visiting with the teachers other three painted turtles in a55gallon aquariam =) The kids will get to see him tomorrow hehe

May someone run over that cabbie and then comeback to do it 2 more times. How horrible. The poordefensless animal. I hope that charges are brought againsthim and he spends some time behind bars. What an idiot
