I'm ashamed to admit I'm Canadian after hearing/reading this.
Air Canada to me is one of the worst Airlines, very expensive to fly with them. My family live in Timmins (biggest city in North America AREA wise) the flight is about an hour and half and full fare they want almost $800.00 totally ridiculous.

Westjet still allows pets. You can even fly with your bun in the cabin

Air Canada is being verysneaky about this policy.
Animals are still allowed on the same plane you fly on, but you have to book the animals through the cargo terminal, which is then taken to the cargo hold of the passenger plane.
Same plane, but more money for the airlines.
