newbie...

[Rach the bunny-nut!]

hello...im a newby.

my names Rach,and i love bunnys. i have an agouti lop called Gordito, Gordi for short,which means 'little fat one' in spanish. i know its weird, but it suits him. hes v.cute, but abit of a chub! Hoping to get another one soon as he needs a little friend to play with... also hoping to get a little gerbil. (Depending on how much i can convince my folks)

im doing an animal management course at moreton morrell college to hopefully become a zoo keeper. i absolutely love animals but bunnys are my favourite. i love my college course, its so interesting.my units areveternary nursing, Handling and husbandry, Anatomy and Physiology, Animal Biology and animal health. ive nearly finished my first year-3 days left til summer holidays. carnt wait need the rest!

next year i have different units like exotics, dog agility, Farm live stock(where i shouldhelp to deliver the lambs in spring!) and some others but i wont know til september. i also have to do 800 hrs work experience...been working in a quaranteen cattery and kennels but over the summer hols im hoping to apply at a zoo or safari park.

Gordito sounds fantastic. You must share pictures. There's quite a bit of bonding information on here too that can help you out when you're looking for that second bun.

Your classes sound really interesting. I'm going to Cornell next year to study animal science and hopefully become a vet. I hope I love it as much as you do.
