Hey there,
I am not exactly new to the rabbit world, I grew up with a mom that bred them and showed them. However, this doesn't make me an expert. :) I am older now and I have forgotten a lot.

I haven't had a beautiful rabbit in my world in 20+ years. Until yesterday. LOl. I went into my local pet store (not a chain) and there was this beautiful bunny being surrendered by a family of 5. He is gorgeous. I don't know what kind he is. But, I am in love. The owner of the pet store took him and then gave him to me for a small donation which got me a cage, toys, bedding, food, food bowls, water bottle, salt lick, wooden (huge) hide-a-way box. I am sure I am forgetting something.

I am a family of 5. We have chinchillas and a skinny pig. I will post some pictures of him, hopefully you guys can help me identify him. Or perhaps help name him. He is nameless right now.

Hi, welcome & congratulations!!!
He is adorable! I'm sure all of that young knowledge you gained will return quickly. I'm still new to bunnies, not sure when you graduate to experienced bunny person. My Jersey wooly does have been with me less than 6 months so I still feel I have much to learn. Everyone here is very helpful! As far as names I'm a big Beatrix Potter fan, so I always think of Peter Rabbit or Benjamin Bunny. I'm sure after a few days of getting to know your new bunny the perfect name will come! Glad to have you & your new bun! Will be waiting for his new name!

Thanks! I can not wait to figure out what kind of bunny he is! Thanks for saying he is adorable. :D I adore him. Congrats on your new addition too!

Welcome. You probably won't need the salt lick; a rabbit should get enough from his pellets.

And I;m not sure about that whats-it hanging down. If it contains grain, I'd get rid of it too.

Hello and welcome, looks like a sweet little bun, love the colours. :)
