Hey everyone! I am new to the forums, I have a year and a half old Rex bunny named Toastie! She's a spayed female. I decided I wanted to get her a buddy. So I took her to the local MSPCA.. She was introduced to three potential friends... She was uninterested in the first two (which I know is a good thing) and she stomped at and ran away from the third one.

We ended up leaving without anyone because she seemed pretty upset and stressed out after the final rabbit she met. I was wondering if I should still go through with finding her a friend? If so should I bring her back again in a week to meet some more/ reintroduce to the ones shes already met?

Thanks so much for answering my question!

hello: Im pretty new to this myself, but what I have read into's are very much a time factor. Its something that you cant just go by the first time. It takes awhile for buns to get to know another bun. It also depends if you where intoducing her to another doe or a buck. If you do decide to get another bun, it is VERY recommended to get another cage and to put the other cage next to the one you have now and let them get used to each other that way, or ge a "ring" and put the to in there together so they can't run away from each other but enough room so they can hop around if they need to. hope this helps alittle, again im no expect but hopefully someone that has experince with intros well be more of a help. =)
