Hello.

My name is Donnie and I'm from Central Texas.

We are now new rabbit owners!
Don't know the first thing about it but we are fixing to learn.

My wife rescued a small rabbit the other day from someone that was going to release it to the wild because they didn't want it anymore. :X

Attached are a couple of photos. We are trying to identity the breed we adopted.
My 7 year old is holding it...

Hi Donnie, welcome to RO.

What a great thing you did rescuing that cute little bunny.

I have no idea what breed of bunny you have but I can tell you he/she is Adorable.

Susan :)

That's great you rescued that poor bun!
I'm sure he'll be much happier with you.
No idea what breed he is, but he is a cutie-pie.

is your 7 year old thrilled by the new member of the family?

He/She(?) looks so scared.:nerves1 Throwing a poor little scared bunny into the wild would be so cruel! You did a great thing; I'm sure in the next month or two you'll have a happy friend.

Here is one of my favorite sites to visit before I rescuted my rabbit:

The rabbit is cute and my boy just loves it...He has been calling it cookie and I call it lunch. But I'm kidding; he is to small to turn into a meal. :)
