here is our 5 month old minilop. justgot home from picking her up! such a sweet littlerabbit. she is also potty trained! big plus. im sure she is already adopted as ive had someone on awaiting list for a mini lop. woohoo. heres a snapshot of her!

i was so happy also cause Lucy went home with her new mom anddad yesterday!! they emailed me this morning to let me knowshe did ok on the ride and seemed to really like it that she had freeroam of the kitchen! they put baby gates up to keep her inthere til they can get her litter box trained! they tookpictures her holding her so i really hope to see those. theyjust love her to death already!
im so amazed at how well everything has worked out to thispoint. but i do keep in mind that i know i may not be able to find themall homes. but thats ok too cause they can stay here with meforever if need be

im so happy! miss floppy is adoptedand going home on saturday! the lady adopting heras been approved to adopt and been on a waiting list for 2 weeks nowwaiting to see if a mini lop would come in! she fell in lovewith her! yeahhhh for miss floppy!

brimmhere...I would love to talk to you abouthow you got this all started...I'm still waiting for a call back from alocal shelter about fostering...but haven't heard back. TodayI got contacted about taking another bun...I have 3 and not sure I haveroom for a 4th fulltime!

i think the hardest part is finding ways to let people knowyou exist! post local signs around to let people know you canfoster or rescue, spread word of mouth if you hear aconversation on rabbits, post on sites that are rabbit or rescuerelated! thats the best thing i can say to spread word around!

How small is "small"? I'm thinking ofstarting off with no more than 5 in at a time as I don't want to gettoo overwhelmed. I'm still not sure if I'm gonna go thisroute, or foster for an existing shelter..that way its much easier toget the word out. Thanks for the info tho...If I have morequestions I may ask if thats ok!
