yes he is in a cage and it is two story i was just wondering if it needed a bed i have seen them at the pet store.

Ah, no. Rabbits don't need any kind of bed. Theytend to chew so material usually isn't a good idea. A towel may besomething to try as long as you make sure s/he isn't ingesting any ofit.

You could get them a grass mat - there was justrecently a thread on them I think...that way it could chew on the matAND sleep on it.

Peg

P.S. Nice to see another Texan on here!

i was also wondering if there was a certain forshavings that i should use. and my best friends rabbit is using thebathroom in its food bowl what should she do?

yes get it a litterbox , I have found whenthey potty in thier foodthey generally want to potty in something asapposed to on something .

I use feline pine , othershere use woody pets , eitherare good as is yesterdaysnews but that tendsto smell bad sometimes.

Untreated pine shaving are fine. Don't use cedar.

Tell her to move the litter box to where the food bowl is and put somehay in the litter to entice the rabbit to use it. Also try a bowl thatthe rabbit can't sit in.
