they bpth seem to be a dwarf of some kind.
im taking a wild guess. a netie??? because of the ears?
welcome to the fourm

Thank you for the welcome. I was thinking that too but I did not get them from a breeder so its hard to know. The orange one was with a bunch of other ones just like him. And he is very energetic.

I'm thinking a Nethie mix because the ears seem too long and not quite the right shape for a purebred Nethie.

Here's a picture of my Tio who is a purebred Nethie that doesn't carry the dwarfing gene (meaning - he's big for a Nethie but he has the right body type and ears and stuff)..

Notice how his ears are more rounded at the tip and shorter?

The white one def is Nethie, maybe mixed but not pure.
The orange one, its hard to tell. Looks somewhat like a Nethie.

They are about 6 weeks, i think. It has been really hard to sex them. they weigh about a pound to a pound and a half. (About the size of a guinea pig)

the white one looks... Huh. I really don't know. Looks like the face is too narrow and the ears are too long to be a purebred nethie.

The little red one reminds me of a thrianta but I can't be sure. Best guessing.

Yeah that is what i have been doing. Im just trying to narrow it down. I do know that they are not pure breed.
I will post more pics later when i get a chance and charge my camera.

They look like a local Asian strain to me. They're kind of long through the head and shoulders. (Pam I'm sure could provide a better description). At six weeks, though, its very hard to tell.

They sure are cute! :hearts:

I love the orange one!! He's stunning!! :bunnyheart What everyone else said sounds about right :)

They look like Mini Satins (Hard to say - they could very well be mixes). We can tell more when the babies are mature.

It's actually very popular in Japan to import purebred champion rabbits from the United States (we've sold Holland Lops to Japanese buyers). So, purebreds are very common in Japan, although this is not the case in most Asian countries.

In fact, Japan is sanctioned under the American Rabbit Breeders Association and ARBA shows are held there. Here is ARBA news from Japan http://www.arbadist1.com/japan.htm

Yeah i thought they do some weird stuff here. The store where we got them is not a pets store its more of a department store, yet unlike a petsmart, the animals there are never the same for more then a week or so and they all seem healthy. Plus the rabbits we got (Just got another one today and will post pics soon.) were all different prices. Our first one was 3600 yen, the second was 8800 yen, and the third was 3600 yen too. Yet others there were as high as 26800 yen. (About $270 US).
