Hi everyone! I was referred to this page from another page that I joined on facebook. I am concerned about the rabbits at pet supplies plus because I was in there not too long ago and I noticed that the rabbits did not have any hay in their cages. I asked the worker why the rabbits did not have hay and she said that it is PSPs policy to only give the rabbits hay every 2 or 3 days. As a rabbit owner, I know that the rabbits must have hay on a daily basis. I have been emailing the corporate office and asking them to change their policy and even sent them information from rabbit.org that explains the importance of hay in a rabbits diet. The person I have been talking to is Linda Schempp and she said that this is how they have been taking care of their rabbits for years and they will not be changing their policy. I am asking for help from other rabbit lovers who will email Linda at [email protected]. Please explain to Linda that importance of rabbits getting hay on a daily basis. Please be sure to be very polite! We want her to listen to our concerns and not to write us off as "crazy rabbit people".

I have 4 rabbits currently. My love of rabbits started with a rabbit named Bex. I adopted Bex from the humane society in 2008. After the loss of Bex I was devastated and got a rabbit tattoo on my wrist. the cruelty free logo to be exact, see caringconsumer.com for the exact bunny that I have on my wrist
After bex passed, I felt a huge void and wanted another rabbit, so I again visited the humane society and found Siggy-- siggy had been dumped outside and someone found him and brought him into the humane society. shortly after getting siggy, I adopted Chauncy, then peanut, and my newest addition is Cadbury I love my furbabies so much! I am so grateful for each one of them!
thank you again,
