Here's the hutch that I whipped together. I have NO building experience at all, so this was interesting. LOL The wood was scrap stuff laying around, and the frame was built a few years ago and never finished (hubby did that...it was supposed to be 2 hutches, he never finished it, then turned it into a pitching stand for the boys). I have about $60 in the wire.
Hubby, for whatever reason, never really thought out the width of the thing. It's 37" wide and not quite 10 feet long. UGH! Anyway, the widest wire I could find was 36", so there is about 1/2" on both sides they could possibly chew. It's 24" high, with 1/2" spaced wire on the top and bottom. Which I had to use on the top because it's the only cage wire wide enough. The dividers were made with 1/2"x 1" spaced wire.
I have it divided into 4 pens. They are around 26"x37". The dividers were put in with wire ties, so I can easily convert it into fewer bigger cages if I want.
It's not pretty, but it works. Oh, and I didn't have any spare small snaps, so used pieces of horse equipment until I get to the store. LOL
