Hi all.
I am new to the group. Here to get educated and become a pro at all things Angora. I adopted a very big baby bunny from some nice young girls who breed their pets. He's not papered or anything just supporting my local youth with living their dreams.
From what I am told his mother is a satin angora and his father is a Giant German Angora? I saw him he was the biggest bun I have ever seen.
So well I have had bunnies before and love them but I have never had the angora breed before. Based on his current size at 8 weeks old I would imagine he's going to get large so we are building a custom hutch for him that is equally massive.
I'm curious based on his current appearance will he be developing ear tufts and more facial fluff as he matures or do you think he's more genetically on the satin angora side physically.
wondering how much hair and size I will be working with once he is fully grown. All tips and tricks for caring for this breed is welcome as I am just dipping my toes in. He is already the cuddliest bunny we have ever had and comes right to us when called.
