New, Hello!

Hey all!

My name is Megan. I got my first pet bunny yesterday! I'm here to learn all I can about caring for him the best I can. When I was younger my sister and I had rabbits but they stayed outside, but thats been years ago.. so this is my first time keeping one inside. I had an empty guinea pig cage, and a friend of mine was getting looking to rehome a Lionhead bunny, and I've always wanted a little bun bun.. so here I am. Right now his name is Leonidas.. not sure if that will stick though, ;D

a GP cage is small for a bunny (heck, a "bunny cage" is small for a bunny - the one I started with got meshed and re-gifted to a syrian hamster 'cause store cages are too small for them, too >.>)

you should check out the NIC and x-pen stickies in the health and behavior section (http://rabbitsonline.net/view_forum.php?id=93 ) they're cheap and fun to build and are WAY better than store-bought cages because they're bigger and everyone's cage is unique! (it's also really fun every time someone gets to show off pics of their new condo or x-pen setup!)
