Hello from Missouri, I am preparing for retirement by building a rabbitry. I intend to raise and show American Blues, Hotots, and Silver Fox. I am 60 years old, three grown boys and married to a wonderful woman for 34 years. I am retired from the U.S. Army, and the State of Missouri and soon to be retired as a D.A. Civilian. This will be my fourth time with raising rabbits over the last 40 years. It all started back in 1963 as a 4H project as my father raised rabbits for many years in central Illinois.

Sounds like you have a lot of years of experience to share! The Rabbitry and Showroom is where many breeders hang out and share their knowledge. I believe we have a few Silver Fox breeders around here...

Be sure to check out the Lagomorph Library as well, for plenty of great information on rabbit health, behaviour and nutrition.

By the way, I'd love to see some building plans!
