Hello! My name is Valerie, I am newhere and to the whole indoor bunny world. My mom had a rabbit thatlived outside for the past couple of years and with the horribly coldweather we have had here I finally convinced her to let me bring him tomy house. His name is Fruitloop and he is a holland loprabbit.

I have read many post about rabbits having playtime or even the run ofthe house with supervision. Can you tell me where I can go tofind out how to train your rabbit to have these oppertunities withoutmaking a huge mess? When I say mess is there a way to trainyour rabbit to not go to the bathroom all over thehouse? Fruitloop is somewhat trained in his cagesince I have a litterbox in it with hay. But he still tendsto poop outside of the box. I would like to let fruitloop runall over the place I just don't want lots of bunny poops.

Thanks and I look forward to learning!

Valerie

Hello! Welcome!

Welcome!

Start him off in a small area, say, one room. With lots oflitter boxes. He'll get the idea. Once he'sreliable, expand the area, slowly. You can never reallyexpect all the poop's to make it in the box. At least they'reeasy to clean up.

Hi! Welcome to Rabbits Only!!

When a bunny comes into a new territory, or there is a new addition tothe household, you'll find that they poop quite a bit, and kinda allover the place. This is them kind of marking theirterritory...spreading of the scent, so to speak. This willtaper off as your bunnies get used to the new turf/new addition, butwill probably last a couple weeks.

Hope that helps! :)
