Hi, my name is Kim and I am fostering a sick bunny for my local spca. They made a plea on facebook saying they needed foster homes that didn`t have any bunnies and I thought why not.

I am currently am owned by my 3 children, husband, yellow labrador and 2 parrots.

This is my first time with a bunny and She has a cold :(
I give her meds 3 times a day.

Her name is Mia(I call her Little Miss Mia).

So, I am going to ask all you knowledgable people about 100 questions. Hope you don`t mind.

I am wondering if there are any specific veggies I can feed her to help with her congestion and sneezing?
She currently has free range of my son's bed room in the basement, but she is pooping and peeing everywhere, how do
I diminish this?
She is 6months old and pulling out her fur, I leave it in the cage as per the spca's instructions, but is there a way to help her stop?
Those are my questions so far. Thanks for your help.

Pics of Little Miss Mia, the first is an SPCA pic, the rest are at my house. Not sure what kids of rabbit she is, but she's super soft like Angora.

Great! My buns aren't big mint fans but they like the others. Dandelion, Belgium endive and fennel are big hits also. I'm sure Kristina shared tips about where to get cheap veggies.

It sounds like she's settling in nicely and a little more relaxed than before.

Edit: I'm pretty sure Mia is a rex mix by the way. Angoras have long hair and require a lot of grooming.

No she didn't share with me where to get cheap veggies, tell me? lol

Hi, Kim!
That is so wonderful of you to take in Mia to foster for the SPCA! I still consider myself new to bunnies so will leave most of the advice to the more experienced here but I had to say, "Hello!" to another parrot person! My birds are the reason I chose my Jersey Wooly bunnies as our family's furry family members! The bunnies ignore the birds & the birds are the bunny sitters! lol They are tattle-tailfeathers! If one of the bunnies misbehaves & I am not right there the birds start squawking to let me know! lol It is a riot & I know to come to see what is going on!

Hope Mia gets well soon! Enjoy your new bunny girl!

Well in order not to stress out Little Miss Mia, she hasn't met any of the other pets in the house. Dodger(my lab) used to live with a bunny and loves all creatures, even the birds.

Thanks to all who welcomed me.

Yes, I should have explained. My bunnies also came from a breeder who has an African grey & she assured me that her bunny babies were used to bird screeches & noise. I did want to make sure any bunny coming into my home would be okay with birdy noise. My birds are quiet most of the time, mostly they talk but at least once a day I have a cockatoo that likes to express his joy of life. Not long but it is a bit loud. He is in the bird bedroom so it is not as loud for the bunnies. I tried ti think of everything for the birds, bunnies & humans so that we would all be as compatible & happy together as can be!
