I know the feeling so well- about 2 years ago, my parents randomly decided to buy me a new car, totally out of the blue. They told me that my old one was falling apart (it was) and they were concerned for my safety in it, but my mum also told me afterwards that my dad had said he was just proud of what I'd done with my job etc... That meant so much more than the car itself!

And oh yeah, the washing begins! I think I washed my car about 10 times within the first few months lol- I was so particular about it! Plus I kept it so clean inside, compared to my old one that was always filled with rubbish etc... ;)

The last one was a 95. We really didnt clean it at all. :p

My previous car was a 95 plate too! :highfive:

My dad gave me a 1996 Mercury Sable a couple of months ago..............

:?

;)

Congrats!

Think they would want to adopt a daughter? :biggrin2:

eh, it's in good shape - my son and I are sharing it and our F250 truck. If I worked full time or something I'd get myself something newer, but I don't need much....

I'd just LIKE something new LOL!

Honestly I was in a daze almost all day when he called and told us. He had taken us to look to get an "idea" of what we wanted. Something "new" is pretty cool. More so when you are not paying.
