Hi!
I adopted a new bunny today they didnt tell me the sex but he/she is a drawf rabbit, i have previously owned a rabbit in my child hood.
I certainly am not an expert on the rabbit lifestyle, though I live one of my own as a vegan.
A couple of months ago my hamster passed away after 5 years of age which is quite long so I decided to move up and get a rabbit.
I know he/she will be lots of hard work but rewarding
I purchased a big sleeping pooping cage, and he/she has the rest of the room to themselves which is bunny proof

I have no name yet !
but he/she is soft and quite cuddly , seemes to be pretty chilled out for coming home

Hi! and welcome to the forum!
Might I suggest that you keep your new bunny confined in the cage for the first 48 hours. This will help tremendously to establish the cage (and litterbox) as hers/his. It is much more difficult to train a rabbit if it is allowed too much space too soon. Giving it too much freedom usually results in potty accidents. And once those urine smells are there, bunny tends to return again and again. Far easier it is to start slowly. It will make the process far smoother.

thanks for the welcome
I am keeping him./her in the cage right now cause of what you mentioned he/she did roam a little bit im trying to bond with him or her i have no name cause i have no idea what the sex is

he/she keeps bumping his or her head on my hand when i put my hand close i know they can get scared or jumpy easily so im trying to be nice and let him or her come to me...
not sure if the bumping head thing is a natural thing ..

i hope we can bond and live a happy life together:bunnyheart
