New bunny

Hi! My names Kristin, I recently took in a bunny named bella, it was my sisters rabbit, she wanted it for easter, yeah I know stupid huh?I have had rabbits in the past so I was blessed to get another. Anyways I was wondering she got the rabbit from a feedstore for 10 dollars , has anyone ever gotten a rabbit that cheap? My last rabbit was purchased at a petco in 2005. Does it mean the rabbit was poorly bred if they sold to a feed store?

Nikki came from a feedstore-the gal that bred them just wanted them sold and trusted the owner to look after that part.

I think it has nothing to do with poorly bred but more so just trying to find homes asap. I haven't paid $200 for a rabbit either. I had contacted some breeders who charged that much which I felt was overly priced, just a personal opinion. My rabbits are pure bred and I paid $50 for my lionhead and $60 for english angora.
