Hi I have a unique housing situation and cant find any related topics on here. I have a 3 YO neutered male bunny and he is litter trained and has a open hutch with food water treats etc that I leave open and he also has the run of a 1500 square foot screened patio with bunny proof screen at the bottom. He only eats in the hutch, his litter box is 10 feet away and he has a few favorite sleeping spots around such as on a chair cushion and under the grill. A friend gave me an 8 week old female giant flemmish bunny on Easter morning. I have just let them loose together and he seems to sniff, scratch and chase her a little but also flops next to her to rest. Sorry for the long question but I am not sure if I should, A. get her her own litter box? B. Keep them separate for now? C. Get her her own hutch and have 2 always open? I am pretty sure he looks at it like the entire patio is his territory so I think bringing in another hutch he would consider that his as well. She is as big as him now and will rapidly be getting bigger. I want them both to be happy so I appreciate any comments or insight anyone has.
