New bunny owner!

Hello everyone, I'll be getting my first ever bunny in a few days and I'm so excited. I've constantly been doing my research and I came across this forum.

I have bought my rabbit a two story hutch that I'll be keeping outside but I have noticed housing bunnies inside has become a popular thing. I have looked at lots of pictures of other cages so my question here is where do you buy the cages or the things you buy to make a cage?

Those C&C cages or grids or cubes or whatever you want to call them, aren't easy to get in this country. Nobody really sells them (bunnings did for a while but have since stopped) and you have to order them in from overseas which becomes really expensive. You may be better off with the largest indoor cage that you can afford/find/fit in the space. But somebody else from Australia who actually has an indoor bunny might have other ideas

Hi and welcome to RO!

I know some people will use xl dog crates, or an xpen for their buns, and these you can usually get at pet stores or order online. The hutch you bought might even be workable if it's not too huge. I believe that's what RO member FreezeNkody did for one bun. You could check out these threads for ideas too.

I've had no luck finding NIC cubes or anything similar, so I've taken to using a hutch indoors. I've actually just ordered a double story hutch, too, and I have an xpen area set up for Felix to run around.

here in canada the cubes people use for c&c cages we can get from stores like home hardware, home depo.
