Hi All,

I recently bought my first bunny about a week ago(Her name is mocha because her fur is brownish- mocha coloured!) :). I was wondering what is the best strategy in potting training her to pee and poop only in her litter. She tends to poop a lot in her cage. This worries me because I can't watch her 24/7, only when she's out in her play pen can i monitor her, but the weird part is when she's out in her playpen she only poop's about a couple times and stops completely and poop's and pee's in the litter.

Thanks!

The only information I can give you is to limit her space she is in to litter train her because with a big area it's harder for it to happen. My girl isn't spayed yet and she urinates in her litter box apart from an accident here and there if I don't clean her litter box out in time. She will occasionally poop in there too but majority of the poop will be scattered in her x-pen big she won't poo outside of her x-pen when she has free roam of my room (thank goodness).
I pick fresh poos up and place them in her litter box so she can smell that it's the right place to go to the toilet.
Hope this helped a little bit and enjoy your new baby :) 🐰
