Hehehe In fact, we debate this issue at home. Mywife found the name. I said "what's this bunny's name..." she replied:"hmmm Bowser"... I said: "Oh yeah... he looks like a Bowser alright!"...

In my mind, I thought of the nintendo character, but I later found outthat my wife, although a zelda and mario gamer did not think of theevil turtle right away.

So... my answer to that is... well... yes and no... :)

Just like Marvin... to me, he's named after Marv from Sin City, whereasmy wife thinks he's named afeter Marvin the depressed robot fromhitchhiker's guide to the galaxy.

I guess to each his/her meaning... as long as we call the rabbit by the same name :)

Hehe, Thanks! That was the first thingthat popped into mind with the name Bowser. Maybe he willgrow up big and strong with a tough name like that.

So, true.

PS- I thought you named Marvin after Marvin the Martian = Looney Tunes Character. :p

Bowser, the cute bunny, is having an aiming problem.

She uses her litterbox for poops and pees, but she sometimes faces thecorner, and pees outside the box. In fact, it's a corner litterbox...so it's a triangle.

What are my options, folks?

P.S.: I'll take a picture of the new mature Bowser soon. She changed a lot!

Very cute pics! I bet she's grown heaps since they were posted.

I'd say try a rectangular litter box with higher edges on all foursides. I get plastic dishpans for $1, and they workgreat. The sides are just a little higher than a normallitter box so they don't miss, while the box is still small enough toconserve litter & space.

Can't wait to see the grown up Bowser.:)

Pictures coming soon.

But for right now... I just wanted to share with you a sad little moment.

I noticed this weekend that Bowser had broken one claw on one of her paws... :(

Has it ever happenned to you?

I try to cut her nails, but since her nails are very dark, it's hard tosee where her finger stop and when I should cut, so maybe I didn't cutthem properly? :(

poor baby.

You can try holding a flashlight under her nailso the light will shine through the actual nail part and the quick willappear dark. It could just be she caught the nail on some carpet orbroke it jumping.

Hope it grows back.

Pebbles nails are dark too. I usually cut the very tip ofthem so I don't get too close to the quick. Cutthem during the day so the bright sunlight will help.

Pebbles gets free run outside, so hernailsgets scuffed and worn by the sidewalk and steps on ourhouse so I didn't have to cutthem so often.

What a cute little bunny! Looks so tiny! Betcha Miss Bowser's fur is vera soft!

Dont have to worry about a bunny napper from me ;) I got 4 now  Cant afford to feed another hehehehe

Well, my little girl is not a little girl anymore. She's a full grown doe.

She just started being in heat a couple of days ago, for the 1st time ever. She's about 7-8 months old.

She's not as bad as Marvin was when we got her. She's a little bit more aggressive, nibbling and biting and more nervous when I pick her up or manipulate her.

But she still let herself be petted and still loves to lie on me and watch tv.

Only nowadays, she vibrates. :)

I guess it's time to spay.

Any thoughts?
