Hello All!

I am relatively new to rabbits, having had one a few years ago but not knowing how to handle her aggressive cage possessiveness (so she is now roaming the wilds of Katama...)

A coworker who breeds and shows rabbits was looking to place a few in loving homes, so I decided to try again. I wound up taking homea beautiful 3month old Dutchdoe. She's very spunky, though maybe a little people shy.

After trying out a couple of different names, Alice seemed to stick. So she is my little (black and) white rabbit, lol. She joins two amphibious brothers, Blue Dumpy tree frogs named Spunky and Baby Froggy.

We are both looking forward to any and all info I can glean from this forum on care, normal behaviour,etc...

Thanks!

Roaming the wilds? Not only is it cruel to release a rabbit into the wild, it is illegal. Domestic rabbits are not equipped to deal with the wild like wild rabbits are. I hope you realize how very wrong this action was and will under no circumstances do it again. Find a rescue next time your animal starts to display a natural behavior that you don't agree with, and never get that animal again.

I didn't know better at the time. I knew it was a natural response but didn't know how to handle it. I am better prepared and better informed this time around. Hence why I have joined this forum.
