New behavior- digging in litter box

Hi,

Kiwi has always been a digger (at times) but now as soon as I clean her litter box and there's fresh shavings in there, she jumps in and diggs like crazy! She will then poop in the hole she has dug. She will be sleeping in her x pen which is attached to her cage, jump up and sprint into her cage, jump in her litter box and dig!

Any reason why she would be doing this?

Hahaha, sorry for laughing.. but you just described my bun exactly and I dont have a clue why she does it or how to stop it lol.

Lol, see it dosent bother me as she really dosent make a mess. Yes, she digs but the litter she digs up, mainly stays in her litter box. However, I just don't know if this could be a sign of stress? And she's digging cause she's stressed? Could this be?

Sounds just like Nikki--we gave her a much bigger box and she stopped the digging.
