Ok, first of all, I have 2 days old Mini-Rexbunnies. This is my first litter that survived, so, I amreally exited. All of them are buried, under the fur, likethey are supposed to, but the mommy refuses to go into the nest box onher own, I have to put little treats in there to kind of coax her intothe nesting box. Anyway, they are REALLY covered, to thepoint, where, it is completely impossible to see them, even when youmove it a little bit. Should I get rid of any fur? And, is there anything that I need to do, now that they are born?

A mother rabbitusually only feeds her babies once a day around 5 AM, so unless you areup at that time and are sitting by her cage staring at it for hoursthen I highly doubt you will get to see her feed them. If you check onthem in the morning and see if their bellies look full.....likethis....

then you know they are fine :)

If it is REALLY REALLY hot out like90degrees then I would take some of the fur off, but if not then Ireally believe they are fine :)

Make sure you are checking daily for any dead babies or ones that are deformed.

I wouldn't take out fur though if its hot outlike 75 or up then take some out. Also mom's usually don't usually feedbabies more than 2 times a day. The babies probably only get breakfastin the morning and dinner before time to go to bed. moms also likeprivacy during feeding time for her children, I found that one out onmy own. usually mom only keeps them warm when its not really hot out.Check to make sure mom hasn't done anything to the babies and no babieshave died or deformities. Hope this helps.
