New Babies! And color question!

My Jersey Wooly, Brandy had 5 babies yesterday. They all look dark like all 5 could be black, but she is out of a blue and a REW and he is out of a chestnut and a smoke pearl....so??? Will they change colors as they grow or....??? lol Any ideas?

What color are the buck and the doe?

Black and a Black Tort with a Tan pattern...lol

Well, we can rule out agoutis.

Black otter, black, tort otterand tort are the most likely colors.

If they have lighter bellies, I'd guess you might have some black otters. No light bellies - probably black.

Ok, I checked. I didn't even think about that. lol 3 out of the 5 have light bellies.

Possible 3 black otters and 2 blacks - at least you'll have a little variety in the litter! Blue or blue otteris a possibility also.

Ok, thanks! I will have to wait it out and see then. lol I'm kind of excited to see how they end up. Mugs (daddy) has the unrecognized color put he is so cute! He has a really good head and ears and a great compact body. So I figured, what the heck, let's give it a try and see what we can get. Hmmmmm....well...in a week they will have more hair...maybe I can get more of an idea then. Thanks again.
