Benji just frightened the life out of me! We've rabbit proofed our garden and he absolutelyloves to chase around the garden sniffing and chinning everything insight.

I let him out this morning and was in the kitchen when I heardthe bunny scream !! :( I shotout of the door to see him run across the garden and hide under a bush.... no idea what had scared him but he had been screaming for a good20 seconds .. which seemed far longer, believe me.

He's ok .. he came running straight back to the house, and he's now sat in his litter tray.

It was Mike who heard him first as he was sat at the pc whichis near the patio doors out into the garden ... "That's abunny scream" I yelled ...

Horrid

No idea what scared him .. I went upstairs to see if I could see a cat or anything, but there was nothing about.

I gave him a bit of a cuddle but thought the best place for him to be was back in his cage, safe and sound.

It could have been a hawk. I washawk-whistling at my bunny this morning and she would freeze and runbehind me thumping her feet. She didn't scream any though.

Um thats not a funny thingto do ! poor thingyou could have caused a heartattack ,

Saffy: it may not have beensomething she saw orheard it could have wellbeen something she/ he smelled thattriggered the response , A Bunny Screamis themost God Awfull , blood curdling heartstopping sound in the world Definaelysomething I dont wish toever hear again for sure .

I so agree about the noise ... Mikethought we had been invaded by aliens !! He'd neverheard such a noise before.

On further exploration, I have found holes around the base oftwo trees in next door's garden (it was something beyond our fence thatscared Benji) ... I THINK it may be rats, as rabbits usually leavedroppings outside their burrows dont they? Will have a wordwith the neighbours when they get back from holiday.

On a funny point, Benji was busy supervising me as I attachedmore mesh wiring to the bottom of the fence today .....thought it was a great game to keep coming up and grabbing hold of myjeans !!

Poor little guy. I'm glad he's okay.

I am sooo glad Benji is ok. Poor little guy. I'm glad you put himin his cage to recover.

What a little stinker lmbo. First he scares you to pieces thenhe's playing tug of war with your pant leg. He is so funny and has somemuch character.
