I have a male who is about 8 months old. He sprays a lot. Enough to where I need to repaint my walls. I was hoping to find out if I get him neutered, will it help with the spraying, or is it too late to help that? So far he is pretty cuddly, he is in with our spayed female, and they seem to both mount each other equally.

It's not too late to get him neutered, but it may take a bit longer to notice a difference in his behaviour. Males can be done once the testicles descend which is usually when they are around 4 months old. So 8 months old is still young and should be young enough to make a difference in the hormonal behaviours. Do keep in mind that is can take 4-6 weeks for the hormones to dissipate enough to notice a difference.
