nesting boxes

I am going to be making some nesting boxes and wondered if wood bottom or wire bottom is better?? I have seen both and wondered what you guys prefer

I have both and prefer a solid bottom, or small perforations in the bottom. Too much bedding & heat is lost out of wire bottoms.

Ditto on the wood solid bottoms. I like how they keep the heat in. I've also seen metal ones, but I think they are a really bad idea...that's just asking for splayed legs, IMO.

Right now Im using a wire bottom one because it is 90 degrees here and really humid. Otherwise I prefer a solid bottom nest box.
