nest boxes

What is the best thing to use for a nest box? I initially thought of a cardboard box but wouldn't the mama rabbit chew it?

A box can be made out of wood. There arealso metal boxes that can be purchased as well as boxes that attach tothe outside or on the bottom of the cage.

The box should be neither too large, nor too small. It shouldbe only slightly longer and wider than the doe herself.Medium breeds need a box with sides approx. 9 inches high in the front,18 inches in length and 10 inches wide.
