I am trying a wire nestbox that will be line with cardboard and straw for the first time - the cage doors on Trisa and Lenka's cages are smaller than the boxes I have so I can give you a report on those.

I have a wooden box I bought for Juno's first litter that I line with cardboard and straw, too.

My first nestboxes were from KW Cages - all metal but easy to clean and sterilize.
