Nest Box Question

I'm going to be building new cage fromNIC cubes and I want to add new nest boxes to them. I'mthinking I want to build them because I haven't been able to find anythat I like. So, what I need to know is what kind of woodshould I use. Is there something I can find at some placelike Lowes or would I need to special order something? Or isthere a kind of nest box I'm not finding that you wouldrecommend? Also, is there a good size? I have minirexes, a mini lop, a holland lop and a californian. I knowthey would need different sizes, they have different ones now, but Idon't like the ones I'm using. I there a dimension relativeto body size? I was thinking 14x14x14 as that would fill 1NIC cube.

I'm making hide boxes, I guess. Well,Basil will need something bigger because she's going to be breed,so....hers will need to be larger then the rest.

large nest boxes are not good because they maynot keep the nest tight and warm enough.also theymay encourage the doe to sit in them and soil it.
