i had this white albino bunny named Amber that was just gorgeous, 3 months old and the cuddliest girl ive ever seen. Yesterday she was out on the garden when the neighbors dog snuck in and chased fter her. I quickly got the dog to go away but my bunny was scared so i put her with her partner in their cage and left food and water and all. This morning, i woke up to find she had passed away during the night. She had a swollen abdomen and some blood from her nose and mouth and when researching this, it said it could be a case of gastrointestinal stasis. I looked further into it and turns out cabbage is a must-not vegetable for bunnies and can cause GI stasis. Now im worried because since day 1 ive been feeding her cabbage (but not her partner since she was at the vets). Did i kill my bunny? I just need to know i didnt. It would kill me inside to have done that.
