I need some tips on taking pics of Sooty. He is a black rabbit and I have tons of pics of him but it is impossible to see his face and eyes. He looks eyeless in most of the pics :p I know he has eyes but when you look at pics he looks eyeless, lol. so what am i doing wrong or what can i do to get better pics of him?

Midnight is black, and I like to take pics in natural lighting. I think it brings out her eyes better. You can see my blog for some pics of her. =]
Hope that helps you!

Barney isn't black but has dark fur, and it's hard to see his eyes, so if I want them in, I usually take pics from the side to show them!

If I get a close up pic, I have a macro mode on my camera (if you have a digi cam, the setting probably looks like a flower with leaves either side?) which is good for taking close-ups, it focuses the shot so you get a really clear picture. And I normally have my flash set to 'slow synchronisation' which means that the flash goes off just before the picture is taken (or maybe the other way round?), so you don't get so much glare in the picture.

I also try to take in natural light as much as possible, that helps alot. And if any of the buns have red-eye (I don't use the red-eye setting in my camera as it makes the picture a little blurry), I just correct it on my pc when I upload it so they look more natural

Hope that's useful!:)
