need pronunciation help from Scottish or Irish members

I know we have some Scottish and Irish members here on the forum, so I have a question! Does anyone know how the names Bothan and Bothain are pronounced? Are they the same name? I've always been intrigued by the name for some reason, according to The Internet, it's Scottish not Irish but I found a web site that mentions a place in Ireland called Bothain too. If anyone knows, please share!

the first one woudl be pronounced bowthan i think the other one would be bowthane but not 100% sure
